- Once you have decided that you wish to volunteer with GRM-SL, please download and fill in the volunteer application form and return it to volunteer@grm-sl.org
- The volunteer coordinator will review your application within 1 week and may request a telephone interview and/or further information via e-mail
- A decision will be sent to you via e-mail. If you are successful, a volunteer preparations pack together with relevant forms to sign and return will be sent to you. These signed forms must be read and understood and a signed copy must be scanned and sent to volunteer@grm-sl.org 35 days prior to your anticipated arrival date in Sierra Leone. Failure to do so will lead to the automatic cancellation of your place on the volunteer scheme.
- Upon receipt of the signed forms, GRM-SL will request that the applicant pay the full volunteer fee no later than 30 days prior to your anticipated arrival date in Sierra Leone. Failure to do so will lead to the automatic cancellation of your on the volunteer scheme.
- When the fee has reflected in the charity’s account, GRM-SL will send out a visa invitation letter for you to apply for a visa at the nearest embassy.
- You will then be ready to begin your placement with us in Sierra Leone!
