The mission of the Swawou Layout Community Primary School for Girls is to actively identify, engage, enrol and retain the most vulnerable primary aged girls from the Swawou Layout community in order to assist them in attaining their right to basic primary education. All of the pupils at Swawou School were previously outside of education due to poverty and/or social and cultural restraints and would continue to be so if it were not for the assistance of The Children's Education Trust Sierra Leone and Law Business Research.
